Peng Wang

Peng Wang is an assistant researcher at the Hangzhou Institute of Medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Wang received a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from Hunan University in 2019 and continued postdoctoral research there before joining the institute in September 2022.

Wang’s research focuses on the design and construction of high-performance small-molecule fluorescent probes, functional nanomaterials, and aptamer conjugates for biosensing and targeted treatment of diseases including cancer. The work has appeared in journals including Chemical Science, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Nano Research, Nucleic Acids Research, and Analytical Chemistry.

Wang has received special and general funding from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, as well as support from a Hunan provincial program for outstanding postdoctoral researchers.
