Jinyun Dong is an assistant researcher at the Hangzhou Institute of Medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dong received a Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in June 2019 and subsequently worked as an assistant researcher at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. Dong joined the institute in November 2020.

Dong’s research focuses on small-molecule design, chemical modification, and biological evaluation. The work has been published in journals including the European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Resistance Updates.

Dong has contributed to patented technologies and has led a project supported by the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation.
