Ming Cheng is an assistant researcher at the Hangzhou Institute of Medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Cheng received a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Nanjing University in 2018 and subsequently held an assistant research position in its School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
From August 2019 to July 2021, Cheng conducted postdoctoral research with Lyle Isaacs in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Maryland, College Park. Cheng joined the institute in January 2022.
Cheng’s research focuses on the development of intelligent drug delivery systems. The work has appeared in journals including ACS Materials Letters and Chemical Communications. Cheng has led a Young Scientists Fund project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
