Liang Xu is an assistant researcher at the Hangzhou Institute of Medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a cell-processing engineer at the national–local joint engineering laboratory for personalized cell therapy technology.
Xu’s work focuses on cell therapy technologies and their clinical translation, including the development of automated processes for the preclinical chemistry, manufacturing, and controls of cell therapy products.
Xu previously headed cell-processing laboratories at the Biotherapy Center of the hospital now affiliated with the PLA Army’s 74th Group Army, and at the Translational Medicine Center of Hunan Cancer Hospital, an affiliated hospital of Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University.
