Research Interests

Research Interest I: Multiomics for Medicinal Plants under Abiotic Stress

We have developed an active-enzyme induction method to enhance the levels of active ingredients in medicinal plants such as Morus, Mahonia,Ginkgo, Lonicera, Taxus, Catharanthus, and Clematis. Our research is focused on elucidating the underlying mechanism of this induction and revealing the biosynthetic pathways of the active ingredients using mutiomics techniques such as proteomics, metabolomics, transcriptomics.

Research Interest II: Clinical Systems Biology

In this research area, we focus on the underlying mechanism of action of traditional Chinese medicine in disease prevention and treatment as well as related biomarkers by integrating systems biology approaches and large-scele medical data. It will contribute to the early disease diagnosis and facilitate the development of new products in traditional Chinese medicine.
