Biography

Prof. Shou-xin Li obtained his Master degree from East China University of Science and Technology in 2005. After graduating, he continued his work at Lunan Pharmaceutical Group Corporation as Senior Engineer until 2018. Then, from 2018 to 2020, he worked at the Zhejiang University as professor. In 2021, he joined the Hangzhou Institute of Medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences as professor. He obtained Shandong S&T Progress Award for two times.

Research Interests

Research and Development of New Chinese Medicine

We have developed a new technique for developing new drugs from traditional Chinese medicine, including the new pharmaceutical and preparation technologies. Currently, we focused on the development of a new anti-cancer drug from Lysimachia capillipes. Additionally, I’m also interested in isolating and purifying active ingredients from Chinese medicine and studying their mechanism of actions.
