Ruizi Peng

Ruizi Peng is an associate researcher at the Hangzhou Institute of Medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Peng received a bachelor’s degree in 2014 and a Ph.D. in 2019 from Hunan University. From 2017 to 2019, Peng undertook joint doctoral training in biomedical engineering at Emory University and the Georgia Institute of Technology with support from the China Scholarship Council.

After postdoctoral research at Hunan University, Peng was appointed associate researcher there in 2020 and joined the institute in 2021. Peng’s research focuses on nucleic acid nanotechnology and molecular diagnostics, with publications in journals including Nature Communications, the Journal of the American Chemical Society, ACS Nano, and Analytical Chemistry.

Peng has received support from China’s Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program and has led projects funded by national and provincial science foundations.
