Lei He is an associate researcher at the Hangzhou Institute of Medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his bachelor’s degree in 2014 and his Ph.D. in 2019 from Hunan University. During his doctoral studies, he undertook a visiting research placement at Stanford University supported by the China Scholarship Council.
He began postdoctoral research at the institute in March 2020 and was appointed associate researcher in May 2022. His research focuses on artificial cells, nucleic acid nanotechnology, and bioanalytical chemistry. His work has appeared in journals including the Journal of the American Chemical Society and ACS Nano.
He is a recipient of China’s Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program and has led projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
