Biography
Dr. Sha received her Bachelor degree of Computer Science at the Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2011, and her Phd in Bioinfomatics at the University of Leeds, UK in 2015. She then continued research work as Research Associate at University of Leeds and Imperial College London National Heart and Lung Institute, and joined Hangzhou Institute of Medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021. Dr. Sha was selected into Zhejiang Young Talents Project in 2021.
Research Interests
Dr. Sha's main research interests include:1) developing AI/ML tools for effectively integrating large scale omics data , including bulk level multi-oimics data, single-cell RNA and ATAC data and Spatial-omics data;and 2) applying those tools to assist biological discoveries and precision oncology.
