Dr. Huacheng Luo is a professor of the Hangzhou Institute of Medicine (HIM), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He engaged in scientific research at University of Florida and the Pennsylvania State University in United States. Dr. Luo lab research aims are focused on identifying how the epigenetic landscape profiling is capable of influencing the initiation and progression of cancer and exploring new technologies for cancer treatment, including: 1). Clarifying the epigenetics mechanism of functional nucleic acid targeting m6A modifying complex in carcinogenesis; 2 ). Uncovering the molecular mechanism of long non-coding RNA mediating three-dimensional genome organization in normal hematopoiesis and malignant leukemogenesis; 3). Investigating the functional mechanism of aptamer targeting SOST(sclerostin) in malignant tumor therapeutics. Dr. Luo’s studies have been published in the international peer-reviewed journals, including Leukemia (2023), Molecular Cell (2022), cover article), Cancer Cell (2019, cover article), Blood (2018, cover article), Science Advances (2020), Nature Communications (2021), Oncogene (2022), Advanced Science (2021) etc. His research was supported by the Leukemia Research Foundation (LRF) and NCI in United States.
