Juan Li is a researcher at the Hangzhou Institute of Medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a recipient of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars and the Chinese Chemical Society Young Chemist Award.

Her research focuses on bioimaging, biomaterials, and cancer immunotherapy, with the aim of developing research tools for chemistry, life science, and medicine. Her work has been published in journals including Science, the Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, and Chemical Society Reviews.

She has led projects supported by the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Shanghai research programs. Her academic service includes membership of the Editorial Advisory Board of Analytical Chemistry.
