Biography

Dr. Tao Bing received his B.S. degree (2004, biological science) from Shandong University, and M.S. (2007, biophysics) and Ph.D. (2010, chemistry) degrees from the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2014 to 2015, he engaged in postdoctoral research at UC Riverside. From 2010 to 2011, worked in the Degree Office of the Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2012 to 2021, he served assistant/associate professor at Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. In 2021, he moved to Hangzhou Institute of Medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences.


Research Interests

His research interests focus on molecular recognition and molecular diagnostics: 1) The next-generation aptamer selection methodology; 2) Digital cellular atlas and recognition mechanisms of aptameromics; 3) Novel methods for biomarker discovery and detection; 4) Development of aptamer-based reagents and products for molecular diagnostics & therapeutics.
